Welcome
to The ORION Initiative, an international,
not-for-profit, all-volunteer high-IQ membership association dedicated since 1996 to breeding and educating Humankind's
pioneers to the stars via the establishment of conscious assortative mating communities—intially on-planet, then subsequently in privately-funded orbital colonies—by the end of the 21st Century.
Integral to this
mission is the establishment of Lifelong Learning Centers by and for
the gifted and talented. All Citizens from the mid-teens on up are expected to volunteer time to educating fellow Citizens
and their younger dependents...and your student today may well be your teacher tomorrow.
We're dedicated
not only to establishing our own minarchist ("night-watchman State") Intentional
Communities here on-planet, but also to promoting minarchist ideals to the individuals, communities,
and institutions with which we are currently constrained to live and work. In that spirit, some of us may be politically
active in our own existing Earthside communities and some of us may not.
Nevertheless,
we keep our eyes on the prize: first, sequester ourselves and nurture our unique community culture Down Here...in service of ultimately realizing
our dream in its entirety Up There.

Much of the necessary technology to crerate viable orbital habitats already
exists. But if present on-planet dysgenic trends continue without safely sequestering off-planet a cognitive-elite breeding
population, Humankind itself may not exist long enough to sustain the coming diaspora! We believe that the initial privately-funded, non-Statist
orbital pioneers must be both dedicated to the consciously genetically advantaged outbound optimization of the species, and firmly rooted
in the great technological, sociopolitical, and moral achievement that is Western Civilization.

the age of 18 who has a
verifiable tested IQ of 130 or higher (if you've never been tested, ask us how!) and who shares this Dream, or simply wishes
to learn more about it, is warmly welcomed to apply for Citizenship in this "spookybright spacefarin' Tribe."
